The Medicine Shoppe owner-pharmacists are Mike Duffy, a 1987 graduate of Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; and Greg MacFarlane, 1987 graduate of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
The Medicine Shoppe team of professionals also includes Dalhousie University trained pharmacists: Daniel Pike, Carla Hebert and Karen Reeves. All of our pharmacists have received specialized training through the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) and have areas of specific compounding expertise.
Greg MacFarlane has received specialized training in Pain Compounding; while Mike Duffy and Daniel Pike have received specialized training in Bio-identical Hormone Restoration Therapy (BHRT).
Having recently completed the necessary training programs, Greg Macfarlane, Daniel Pike and Mike Duffy are certified immunization pharmacists, able to administer various vaccinations.
These professionals, along with the Medicine Shoppe pharmacy technicians, comprise the team responsible for delivering the broad range of unique and specialized services available to Medicine Shoppe clients.
